The intention of this initiative is to make our business a more sustainable and responsible business which is achieved through a series of workshops, masterclasses and expert mentoring. Beadmans focus is on ensuring that the business adopts and measures itself on our corporate social responsibility. This covers the following issues as examples;
The intention is that these focus subjects are or become part of the core of our beliefs, behaviours and standards.
Some of the initiatives that we have adopted are, tree planting for carbon offsetting, Charitable Initiatives (including contributions to Guide Dogs for the Blind and now Royal Society for Blind Children), reduced waste in the office, flexible working policies and working and equal opportunities.
We actively encourage staff engagement in the challenges and charitable work for which we have tried to have some fun along the way, particularly the Bake Off challenges for those who like cake! Undertaking some of these initiatives have been challenging in Covid times but we have still managed to undertake virtual fun runs, Football sweepstakes etc.
